UCD civil engineers compete in Mid-Pacific competition

A team of UC Davis civil engineers showcased these traits as well as their talents Apr. 27 and 28 at the Association of Civil Engineers' Mid-Pacific Competition, an annual event in which civil engineering students from universities compete in building a concrete canoe and steel bridge. Read more

UCD aeronautical teams placed 2nd and 13th in international competition.

After a year of designing, manufacturing and testing their planes. Aerobrick and Micro Phoenix finally got to show what they can do at this year's SAE AeroDesign West competition. Each team receives points based on a technical design report, a professional presentation and their flight performance. After three days of competition, competing with schools from around the world. Micro Phoenix & Aerobrick 2007 placed 2nd and 13th.
